Tata Motors hasĀ unveiled an updated Tigor EV in India. The now comes with a new 21.5 kWh battery offering a 213 km range in a single charge, making it the cheapest electric car in India.
The commercial version of Tata Tigor EV is priced at Rs. 9.44 lakh, after all the subsidies, making it the cheapest in its category. For private users, the car will retail at a starting price of Rs 12.59 lakhs.
The car comes in three different variants, namely XE+, XM+ and XT+ and will come with two charging ports, one each for regular and fast charging.
