ZuperMeal, a two month old mobile based aggregator founded by Pallavi Saxena along with co-founders Balasubramanian A and Prabhakar Banerjee, will receive investment from her husband Ravi Saxena and chef Sanjeev Kapoor along with promoters of kitchen appliances firm Wonderchef two foreign partners who will collectively invest $2 million.

The startup is a marketplace and delivery service for home-cooked meals and aims to empower women and enhance their skills.

Mumbai based ZuperMeal will use the funds to scale operations and plans to reach 500 towns with 60,000 housewives and achieve a sales volume of Rs 4,500 crore by 2020.

Currently, the startup has 150 homemakers registered on the platform and serves 60 to 70 meals a day, earning a net margin of 15%.
