Cleartrip’s Mobile Traffic Surpasses Desktop; Draws 53% Traffic From Mobile Channels

cleartrip-android-app-logoCleartrip’s Quarterly Mobile Insight for Q4’14 reports an inflection point for the Mobile-first customers.
Over 53% of the total traffic comes from the mobile channels pushing the desktop channels behind, in which, 47% of mobile traffic came from Mobile Web.
The Q4 report also states that over 70% of its mobile customers are now using mobile as their only channel for transactions with an increase in transaction by 214% YoY (40% of the transactions came from mobile).
The comparison of the utilization of Cleartrip Mobile features such as pre-booking, post-booking gives a better picture for mobile v/s desktop, where indications of higher customer engagement over Mobile are reflected in higher retention & usage on mobile.
