Bangalore-based startup Flicksup has been selected by Facebook to be a part of FBStart, a global programme by the company that provides assistance to startups. As part of the programme, Flicksup will receive $40,000 to build, grow, and monetize their application.
Founded by IIT-Roorkee alumni Tarun Valecha, Siddharth Maheshwari and IIT-Bombay alumni Pawan Nagwani, Flicksup lets users discover movies, music and review and discuss content with other users.
The startup will also receive mentoring from Facebookâs engineering teams, as part of the programme.
