Well, you can convert Tweets into a magazine – so why not Facebook pages?
HappyWhy.com is an interesting service that transforms Facebook pages into public magazines. These magazines are visible to non-Facebook users and enables owners of Facebook pages to expand their user-base outside Facebook and supplement their online presence.
Mumbai based HappyWhy creates a web-page/magazine using data of Facebook pages (like this) and allows users to efficiently manage their online presence. The service enables Facebook users to discover content through their network of friends in a more readable format (magazine styled layout).
When you login to HappyWhy, you see a discovery widget. This consists of users, your likes and likes of your friends – all packaged as magazine.
The real usage of HappyWhy is in creation of magazines using Facebook pages, HappyWhy comes as a handy tool to publish snippets/summary of a brand’s activities across the social media channels and helps the word across to a larger segment.
As of writing this, the product needs major improvements and it just fails to fetch latest activities from the pages ( inhibits one to share the magazine, as it is not so meaningful in terms of content).
Right now, this is an interesting ‘experiment’ (The flipboard for non-iPad devices?), but can convert into a business driven by the virtue of its viral nature.
Do give HappyWhy a spin and share your comments.
