Cow Urine is the new Soft Drink [Tech Breakthrough from RSS]

Well..after the $10 laptop debacle, comes another great innovation from India – Soft drink made from cow urine.

And the ‘inventors’ this time aren’t from IISC or the IITs, but RSS (yeah, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh)!

“..the drink – called “gau jal”, or “cow water” – in Sanskrit was undergoing laboratory tests and would be launched “very soon, maybe by the end of this year”.
“Don’t worry, it won’t smell like urine and will be tasty too,..Its USP will be that it’s going to be very healthy. It won’t be like carbonated drinks and would be devoid of any toxins.” – Cow Protection Department, RSS.

The drink is the latest attempt by the RSS “to cleanse India of foreign influence and promote its ideology of Hindutva, or Hindu-ness.” – source

It’s amazing how few groups attempt to make a fool of the country (*) – especially when we are advancing ahead.

What’s your opinion on feasibility of such a ‘soft drink’?

*Update: Unless RSS ‘scientists’ prove that they have really achieved this pathbreaking ‘soft drink’, I guess they are just playing the hindutva card (and in turn, are making a fool of the country in front of a wider audience)
