Craftsvilla Raises $34 Million In Series C Funding

The funding round was led by its existing investors Sequoia Capital India and Lightspeed Venture Partners. Russian investor Yuri Milner also invested $5 mn along with other existing investors. The startup plans to enhance its engineering and product capabilities and attain $500 mn GMV by next year.

Founded in 2011, Craftsvilla has raised $34 million from existing investors Sequoia Capital India and Lightspeed Venture Partners in Series C funding.

Russian investor, Yuri Milner also invested $5 million and participated in the funding round. Other existing investors also participated.

With the raised funds, the Mumbai based startup plans to go public in the next 12-18 months. The e-commerce player currently achieves $120 million and plans to attain $500 million in gross merchandise value over the next one year.

The company claims to have 25,000 sellers on its platform and sells close to 3.5 million products.
