Cyber Security Startup Lucideus Wants To Help You Hackproof Your Company

lucideusHackers have been attacking government organisations and major corporates, and the frequency of these attacks have increased over the past year. Efforts are underway to make the cyberspace more secure.

New Delhi based company Lucideus wants to do its bit. The web space security provider helps companies protect their brands, businesses from cyber attacks. The company provides their customers with security products and services, both generic and customized to keep web-space and networks protected.

The company does Penetration Testing and Quality Analysis of web based applications and web infrastructure of companies. They also help with reporting & patching of vulnerabilities and provides training to the in-house company support team in cyber security competence.

Lucideus WALL-E

This is a penetration testing tool that will help exposes all the vulnerabilities and virtually bypasses firewall or protection that a developer has put up to make his website secure.

LuciDroid

This tool will help you control and coordinate a phone remotely. It allows you to locate the exact GPS coordinates of the phone’s location, monitor the call records, messages, keystrokes and screenshots. The tool can also switch on the phone camera and microphone from your server, remotely.

These tools are custom deployed by the company depending on their requirements.

Some of their clients include Jindal Steel & Power, Ministry Of Corporate Affairs and Kolkata Police Force. Lucideus has also conducted cyber security workshops at various educational institutes across the country, including IIT- Guwahati, NIT-Allahabad and others.

According to a recent confidential CERT-In (Indian Computer Emergency Response Team) reports,  Indian websites are increasingly becoming victims of cyber attacks. According to the report 4191 Indian websites were defaced or hacked in August, 2380 in July, 2858 in June and 1,808 in May.
