Delhiites will soon get free Wifi while travelling in metros. Delhi Metro has tied up with Techno Sat Comm and PING Network, multi-platform video networks and will provide content to passengers.
The passengers can connect the Wifi through a dedicated which will also display the location, approach and destination stations on a real-time basis and help navigate between different lines.
Techno Sat Comm has been given an exclusive license by DMRC for the next 10 years. Techno Sat Comm also runs the Wi-Fi service on the Delhi-Howrah Rajdhani Express.
The service will be launched by second half of the year.
