Germany based, Delivery Hero has acquired Foodpanda. Both the companies are owned by Rocket Internet.
The combined business will process more than 20 million orders a month and operate in 47 countries. Foodpanda has had a good year in India with 800% growth in revenue (read : Foodpanda India’s revenue and loss).
Delivery Hero has also acquired Berlin based foodora from Rocket Internet.
Earlier, foodpanda acquired Delivery Hero’s TastyKhana in India and hellofood business in Argentina in 2014.
