33-year-old software engineer, Lucky Gupta, from Hyderabad was upset over failure to successfully develop a social networking mobile application.
Lucky Gupta Agarwal, was a resident of Swarna Plaza Apartment in DK Road in Hyderabad and was working in a software firm in Hyderabad.
According to police, Lucky used to tell his family members that the app developed by him would become more popular than WhatsApp. But it did not happen and he went into depression. Just days before committing suicide, Lucky had searched online on ‘how to commit suicide without pain’. This forced him to end his life and he opted for a painless death and therefore inhaled nitrogen asphyxiation to end his life.
A case has been registered under Section 174 of the CrPc for a suspicious death.
