iYogi, Consumer Tech Support Startup Raises $15mn

(earlier raised $9.5mn from SAP Ventures, Canaan and SVB and $3.1mn in Series A from Canaan and SVB)  has raised $15mn from DFJ India (Draper Fisher Jurvetson joined continuing investors Canaan Partners; SAP Ventures, a division of SAP AG; and SVB India Capital Partners in the new financing).iyogi remote customer support

iYogi provides comprehensive direct to consumers and small business remote tech support; and has more than 100,000 consumer and small business customers across four continents for its annual subscription alone.

So far, the company has raised $27.6 million in three rounds and will use the investment raised to enhance services, expand its team of Global Tech Experts, and build on the significant growth it has achieved in the last 2 years.[details]

One of the companies that was a pioneer in remote support space, SupportSoft was recently acquired by Consona for $20million.
