Ever had this weird moment that you search for a few important bills/papers and just don’t get it on time? This happens very frequently with me and I have always wished for a ‘Ctrl + F’ in real life (as of writing this, I am searching for invoice of a recently bought Lenovo laptop).
Kleeto is a NCR based startup that comes to the rescue. What they do is pretty simple – they collect your physical documents, digitize it and index it so that you can easily find them.
A paid service (base pricing is Rs. 1200 for 100 documents, assuming 1 document = 5 pages), Kleeto arranges for pickup of document and scans the same. You can access your online documents from the site and even search for them (the documents are indexed at category level – i.e. bills/certificate/invoice etc.).
What happens to the physical document? The documents are stored at the warehouse (with utmost security/care) and you can ask them to be delivered back whenever you need it.
The idea seems quite interesting, especially for those who aren’t so disciplined with their documents. Most importantly, enterprise customers would be apt candidate for this kind of a service – though we need a data center like security level to trust a third party with important documents.
