Reportedly, around 200 e-commerce companies are under the scanner of Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP), following the information from Ministry of Consumer Affairs. Commerce and Industry Minister Nirmala Sitharaman confirmed that the state govts will look into the matter to check these reportedly fraudulent companies.
