Directi’s Bhavin Launches Flock, Team Collaboration App

Flock runs on same messaging backend as which is now shutdown

Directi’s cofounder, Bhavin Turakhia has launched Flock, messaging app meant for team collaboration. While there are the obvious competitors in this space (Slack et al), Flock has a few interesting features to offer

Bring clients into your conversations
You can share files, have discussions and get instant approvals from clients and others outside your team.

A public group to share knowledge and send alerts
You can broadcase announcements to all of your team members without going through the hassles of creating new groups (and visibility). New members are automatically added to this group.

The Flock app is currently available for Windows, Mac, Android and iOS and is free for unlimited users. Flock runs on same messaging backend as which has been shutdown.

Bhavin was the cofounder of Directi, which was acquired for $110mn last year.

Messaging apps is certainly a crowded space and Flock is betting big on simplicity – do give Flock a download and share your comments.
