Display production issues may lead to ‘severe shortages’ of iPhone 15 Pro at launch

Apple’s efforts to reduce the size of the bezel around the display are reportedly causing production issues for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
The manufacturing process has revealed reliability issues with displays made by LG, while Samsung-made displays are unaffected.
Despite the issues, Apple reportedly hopes to release the new models in September, albeit in limited quantities, with more pronounced shortages expected for the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
