The global head of sales of German processed food firm Dr. Oetker, Martin Reintjes, finds the Ease of doing business in India as one of the biggest challenges even though the country is one of its top growth markets.

He states that other countries are more competitive on this parameter. He felt making products at an affordable price point to target a broader group is also a challenge in the country.

He also added that battles between big economies are making the market insecure and unstable.

The company began its business in India with the acquisition of Fun n Foods in 2008 for Rs. 110 crores.
