- Jet Airways founder Naresh Goyal, aged 78, has been sent to 14-day judicial custody in a ₹538 crore bank fraud case under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
- The Enforcement Directorate (ED) arrested Goyal on September 1, 2023, following an extensive questioning session at their office in Mumbai.
