eventifier.pngEventifier, a startup which helps organizers make sense of social media chatter during an event by automatically collating all user generated media and sorting them, has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from KAE Capital.

Founded by Jazeel Ferry, Nazim Zeeshan and Mohammed Saud, the startup was incubated by Chennai based startup accelerator The Startup Centre. Eventifier has 17,000 unique visitors a month and has archived more than 1000 events. Over 10% of users have become customers (60 paid customers with a growth of 20% every month); and the startup has bagged marquee customers such as the Clinton Foundation.

” All this was built in India without stepping into the US.  Bottomline: You can build global companies from anywhere,” said Vijay Anand, the founder of The Startup Centre.

Eventifier, which began as an idea at the In50hrs idea to prototype hackathon, collates all user generated media for an event from various social streams like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Flickr, Youtube, Vimeo, Slideshare, Speakerdeck, Prezi, Yfrog and Photobucket to archive it.

The webapp also sorts content formats into different categories such as photos, videos, slides and tweets.
