Mumbai-based bike washing startup, ExpressBikeWash has raised an undisclosed amount in funds from Mark Mobius, Franklin Templeton Executive Chairman and AdvantEdge Startup Incubator.
“Our future plan is to empower all manual washing centers with an automated washing machine. Petrol pumps, malls, corporate parks, societies are the potential B2C target areas. We see a huge potential at captive areas like petrol pumps. These markets have an analogy in foreign markets where pumps have an automated car washer,” says Jigar Vora, co-founder of Entropy (parent company of ExpressBikeWash).
The two-year-old ExpressBikeWash has automatic and comprehensive bike cleaning machine that reaches and cleanses each and every part of the bikes. The company claims that its automated mechanism is capable of washing even the dirtiest of the bikes and scooters in less than 5 minutes using water and shampoo in a highly optimized manner.
