Ezeego1.com, the online travel site, has launched a unique facility, ‘Cash on Delivery’. This facility will enable customers who are reluctant to part with their credit card details and do not want to transact online. This option will enable customers to book flights, holidays, hotels, car rentals, cruises, attractions and other holiday options easily.
According to Ms Neelu Singh, COO, Ezeego1.com, “We realize that a sizeable number of customers prefer to pay offline as either they do not have a credit card or do not want to use the electronic payment option and the only way to tap into this segment is to offer Cash on Delivery facility.”
How does this work? The customer calls the 24/7 customer service number to make a booking and our travel expert will assist the customer with the booking and also provide details on the Cash on Delivery facility. However, the Cash on Delivery booking can be made for bookings when the date of departure is at least four days preceding the date of travel. Once done the Ezeego1 representative will visit the customer and collect the money and hand over the tickets and vouchers.
One of the advantages of this facility is that there will not be any additional charge.
This facility is available across 40 Indian cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad and Bangalore. However, a majority of such cities are located in Category II and Category III cities as these places have low internet penetration.
In case of cancellation all that the customer needs to do is to contact the customer care helpline. The refund will be processed via an online bank transfer or cheque, issued on the name of the customer.
