Facebook’s Standalone Photo App Moments Is Now Available In India

Facebook launched its standalone photo sharing app Moments back in June, but only now is the app rolling out for users in India.

Moments has also been updated with a new video feature that creates a video using a minimum of 6 photos complete with music all on its own.

Further, users will be able to customize the video by adding/removing images and choosing between 10 music tracks that come with the app.

The app uses facial recognition to sort photos out based on who’s in them and can segregate images based on location and then share them with friends.

Moments is available on Android and iOS and will be rolling out in phases for users in India. The app is a great alternative to Google Photos.
