Facebook’s internet drone successfully completes first test flight

Aquila, Facebook’s giant internet drone having the wingspan of a Boeing 737 successfully flew for 96 minutes in Arizona. The drone is unmanned, runs on solar power, and flies between 60,000 – 90,000 feet for about 90 days. It is a vital part of Facebook’s plan to provide internet to remote areas in developing countries.
