Hyderabad based photography startup Flatpebble has raised angel funding from angel investors. Tech investor Raghu Bathina, Lax Gopisetty of Hyderabad Angels, Ram Jayam & Sitaram Banda participated in the seed round.
The exact size of the investment was not disclosed but it is under Rs 1 cr, the company told NextBigWhat.
Flatpebble is a platform where you can hire the services of a photographer on the web. “The solution we provide helps people view work samples, get detailed quotes and engage a photographer safely on the web. The photographer is also protected,” says Venky Seshadri, Co-Founder and CEO of TechClove Technologies, the company that owns Flatpebble.
The company said that the company has facilitated nearly 185 jobs for photographers across 75 cities. About Rs 90 lakh has been transacted on the site. “Our photographer base now covers 175 cities in India with over 800 portfolios and we are adding new profiles,” said Pranav Mehta, Co-Founder and CTO of the company.
The funding will be used to acquire new customers, improve the product and expand the team.
