Flickr has announced that it is bringing back paid subscription plans for both existing as well as new members. The change was apparently prompted by the high number of requests from photographers in the Flickr community.
Subscribers of Flickr Pro will have access to better analytics, improved navigation for viewing data on pictures and better insights in general on their most popular photographs.
Pro subscribers will also get a redesigned Pro badge alongside their username, will enjoy an ad-free Flickr experience on both their own photo pages as well as other’s photo pages.
Further, Flickr has tied up with Adobe to offer its Pro members a 20% discount on Adobe’s Creative Cloud Photography plan. Instead of paying $10 per month for Photoshop CC and Lightroom CC, annual Flickr subscribers will be able to pay $8 per month for the first year.
Subscribing to Flickr Pro will cost $6 per month of $50 for per year.
