Flipkart Founders Debut In Forbes India Rich List

Sachin and Binni Bansal were ranked 86th in the list.With a net worth of $18.9 billion, Mukesh Ambani was ahead of the likes of Sun Pharma’s Dilip Shanghvi and Wipro’s Azim Premji as the richest Indian for the 9th successive year. He retained the spot despite a loss of $4.7 billion in one year.

Flipkart’s founders Sachin and Binny Bansal, have debuted in the Forbes list of India’s 100 richest people with a net worth of $1.3 billion each.

Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) chairman Mukesh Ambani has made into the forbes rich list for the ninth consecutive year, although his net worth has declined $4.7 billion to $18.9 billion from 2014.

Along with Mukesh Ambani, 10 others on the list lost $1 billion net worth each, including CEO of ArcelorMittal, Lakshmi Mittal who slipped three ranks to eighth position.
