Flipkart has got 27,000 local Kirana shops across 700 cities on board ahead of its annual Big Billion Day sale. This move to scale up last-mile connectivity will help Flipkart to reach out to new customers and offer personalized shopping experience to the existing users.
Flipkart has not yet announced the date of the annual yet though it has launched its Hindi e-commerce app targeting next 200 million users.
Earlier Amazon was spotted doing a similar exercise. Both the e-commerce brands are ramping up their local delivery network ahead of Reliance’s eCommerce entry.
