Namotel Acche Din is now the world’s cheapest smartphone which is priced at Rs 99 and is available for booking till May 25th.
The 3G device comes with a 4 inch display, runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and is powered by 1.3GHz quadcore processor along with 1 GB RAM.
The dual SIMsmartphone can be booked through the website of the company, Namotel.com. The website shows that the price has been slashed from Rs 2,999 to Rs 99 and is available on cash-on-delivery.
The website could not be accessed but apparently the website said: ‘This model is limited and it is applicable only for India and who holds Aadhar Identity,’ and also added ‘Pictures shown on website is for illustration purposes only.’
