NCR Based Frankly.me Lays Off 40 Employees

Frankly.me, a Delhi-based video micro blogging platform that raised $600,000 in seed funding from Matrix partners in early January this year has laid off 40 employees from its Delhi office.

The company, as we have learned from different sources couldn’t raise Series A. Frankly.me founder, Nikunj Jain has confirmed with NextBigWhat about the recent layoffs (though not on the numbers). More details about the lay offs will be updated soon as we receive inputs from the company.

The platform works in similarity to Quora, but with a mobile-first and video-blogging approach; Frankly.me gained popularity among film/ music celebrities and startup-founders alike.
