We earlier reviewed SMSBlocker and found it to be quite a useful app.
The app, as the name suggests helps you block spammy SMSes, checks for 6000 spam cases and detects the spam automatically- one can define filters (for instance,sms alerts from your bank account) etc.
The app (currently works on Nokia, Sony and Samsung phones) costs ~$2 (INR 99/), but for PI readers it’s all free.
