The digital payment platform has launched a new service called ‘Auto Pay’, which enables recurring payments on any validity based payments such as mobile recharges and utility bill payments. The payments will be done automatically from the Freecharge wallet on the due date, given that the customer maintains sufficient wallet balance. Once the transaction is successful, a confirmation will be shared.
According to the company, the Auto Pay feature sends a reminder to the customers about the due date before initiating the payment process. In case there aren’t sufficient funds in the Freecharge wallet, customers are reminded to add money to their wallet.
