FreeCharge is now allowing users to buy Google Play recharge codes on its platforms, a week after Paytm added the similar option on its app and website.
The recharge codes can be redeemed on the Google Play Store to purchase digital content like movies, games, music, e-books, and paid apps among others.
To use the service, users have to first select the ‘Google Play’ option on their FreeCharge app or website, make the payment, after which they will receive the recharge code. The code can later be redeemed by using the ‘Redeem Now’ link on the Google Play store.
