Freshmenu fined by BBMP for dirty kitchen

In what will be called an ironical situation, FreshMenu has been fined Rs. 20,500/ by Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (the civic body) for its unclean kitchen and not segregating waste, i.e. not following the food and safety norms.

FreshMenu claims to be serving nearly 12,000 orders on a regular day and has said that they are being singled out unfairly by the authorities (source).
Residents have also alleged that Freshmenu did not segregate garbage & drains are clogged up in the vicinity of freshmenu kitchen in Bellandur.
