That’s when Ajith realized that Renting furniture could turn the entire process from being painful to pleasurable.
In 2012 when Ajith was starting ‘RentUrDuniya’ (now known as Furlenco), everyone advised him against it. They said, ” Indians are known to take pride in ownership, and there is no market for furniture renting.”
Ajith took a leap of faith and explored the uncertain waters of Indian shared economy. The gamble seemed to be worked out well for Furlenco so far as they have shipped more than $20 million worth of furniture to date to 15,000 homes, making them India’s largest online furniture rental company.
