Online music streaming service Gaana.com has released its Gaana 3.0 apps for android and iOS. The company claims that the app will provide a faster search engine and thousands of editorially curated playlists among other features.
Gaana.com has integrated the ‘one touch radio’ into its 3.0 app. The one touch radio will stream music automatically depending on the users tastes. The service improves the music streamed depending on increased listening by the user. The new app will also integrate with the users’ social network and discovers music through their friends circle.
Other features in the app include social music discovery, personalisation and access to a pre-programmed music stream. The music service which currently has over 7.5 million monthly active users now also allows users to download songs to play offline for $1.99/ month in India.
The app is styled along the lines of its revamped online portal Gaana 3.0 that it launched in October this year. With many music streaming services in India pulling the plug on their web services, mobile seem to be what most streaming sites are opting for.
