Due to a bug in the iPhone 14’s crash detection capability, the Pitkin County 911 Center in Colorado received about 20 automated emergency calls. The Grand Country also said the malfunction was the cause of roughly 30 calls every day.
Apple responded to Pitkin County by saying that the fix is being developed and will likely be available in the first quarter of 2023.
