Meet App Maker, A New DIY Tool By Google to Build Apps For Businesses

App Maker is a new browser-based platform by Google, that lets people easily develop custom applications for their businesses.

App Maker lets users use drag and drop widgets around on a user interface that complies with Google’s Material design principles. But they can be customized further with scripts, as well as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Jquery content.

Whether it’s for process automation and workflow or project management, Google says that its service allows businesses to build apps for any problem inside a company that can be easily digitized and solved by a very basic custom software.

App Maker is available for those enrolled in the Early Adopter Program for Google’s G Suite Business offering (formerly known as Google Apps). If you are not yet enrolled, you can go here to apply.
