Google has announced the launch of a new feature that will auto populate Google Calendar with information such as flight, hotel and restaurant info that users have booked.
The feature works by using data from emails containing information about reservations, tickets and the listing will be populated with flight numbers and check-in times.
The new feature is available on both mobile and desktop and will be turned on by default. Turning it off is simple too, but if it’s anywhere as useful as Google Now cards, it’s a potential must-have.
The privacy minded folk may among you might detest the idea of Google crawling your email for information, however, the simple fact is – The more Google knows, the better it gets.
