Google Cloud has released its new Data Migration Service to make it easier for its enterprise customers to move their production databases to the cloud.
Customers can now move migrate their MySQL, PostgreSQL and SQL Server databases to Cloud SQL from environments on-premises or on other clouds. Customers can start the migration at no extra cost and Google states that simplicity, security and compatibility are the main benefits of the Data Migration Service.
