- The Chandrayaan-3’s Vikram lander successfully landed on the lunar surface on August 23, making India a member of the exclusive club of lunar explorers.
- The spacecraft was launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre on July 14 and made its historic touchdown on Wednesday.
