Google Launches ‘Unknown Tracker Alerts’ Feature on Android

  • Google has rolled out ‘Unknown tracker alerts’ on Android.
  • Accessed through the ‘Safety & Emergency’ or ‘Personal Safety’ settings, the feature currently only detects Apple AirTags.
  • A manual scan can be conducted at any time, with location data encrypted and notifications of detected trackers leading users to a map detailing travel history.
