Google Must Remove Ads That Infringe Upon Trademarks: Delhi High Court

In an adverse ruling for Google, the Delhi High Court has held that Google should actively remove ads that infringe upon trademarks.

The court found that Google encourages users to use trademarks as keywords, and benefits financially from the ads that are displayed. As a result, Google cannot claim exemption from liability under the Information Technology Act, 2002.
