Google’s Nexus 6 hasn’t exactly been flying off the shelves owing to its large size, big price tag and an overall lack of premium touches that HTC, Samsung and Apple devices have on offer.
Now, as the device is mid-way through its life cycle, the company has decided to slash rates of the Nexus 6 by Rs 9,000 on Flipkart in attempts to keep sales rolling.
The 32GB variant of the Nexus 6 now costs Rs 34,999 as opposed to its previous price of Rs 43,999, while the 64GB variant now costs Rs 39,999 down from Rs 48,999.
In case you’ve forgotten, the Nexus 6 is largely based on Motorola’s flagship Moto X but features a larger 6-inch Quad HD display and runs a pure version of Google’s Android software.
The processor too has been bumped up to a Snapdragon 805 while the premium leather and wood backs have been ditched in favour of a rubberised plastic back similar to last year’s Nexus 5.
