Currently you can pick up the old Nexus 7 in India from online e-commerce stores for as low as Rs 9,999. This huge discount might be sign of the impending arrival of the new Nexus 7 in India.

The old Nexus 7 was listed on the Google Play India store only on March this year, nearly 9 months after its US launch. It was the first time Google was selling a device through its Play Store in India. Hopefully this time around the device should be making its way into the Indian markets around Diwali.

The new Nexus 7, launched in the United Stated in the month of July, currently retails on the US Play store from $ 299 for the 16GB Wi-Fi only model.
