Google Nexus 7 available (unofficially) in India for Rs. 17,000

The much awaited Google Nexus 7 is not yet launched in india, but you can still go ahead and buy the tablet from ecommerce stores like Indiatimes and eBay.

While eBay has priced the tablet at Rs. 17,690, Indiatimes is selling it for Rs. 16,

The Google Nexus 7 is manufactured by ASUS and it is the first 7-inch tablet that comes with Quad-core processor (1.3 GHz Tegra 3) . The 1.3 GHz Tegra 3 means fast performance and a responsive screen. It runs on the latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, which again, is being touted as the first on any tablet.

Key specs of nexus 7

  • 7” 1280×800 HD display (216 ppi)

The disclaimer however is simple that these aren’t the official launch in the country and we aren’t really sure if ASUS India will respect the product warranty (share your insights, please).

Nevertheless, if you have been waiting for an awesome Android tab, there can’t be a better option than Nexus 7 – especially at the price point at which it is being sold.
