Google Now Gains Spotify & 69 Other App Integrations

Google’s context aware digital assistant Google Now has gotten a big boost in terms of capability, as the company has tied up 70 new partners to bring you relevant information.
The Google Now integrations were opened with an initial batch of 40 Android apps, which threw up information in the form of cards based on Google’s understanding of what a user wants to see.
The most notable new tie ups are Spotify integration with Google Now to show you recommended playlists based on parameters such as the day, time and even your mood.
Other big partners include ABC News, Circa and feedly for news updates, food delivery updates with Eat24, and fitness updates via Runkeeper, Jawbone, or Adidas.
Users will have to download and update to the latest version of the Google App on their Android devices in order to unlock the latest feature additions.
Google has also promised to add integrations with more apps in the future and increase the functionality of Google Now in upcoming releases.
