- Google India has paid the complete fine of Rs 1,300 crore that was imposed by the antitrust authority, Competition Commission of India (CCI), around six months ago for unfair trade practices related to the android system.
- In October 2022, CCI had penalized Google with Rs 1,350 crore for allegedly taking advantage of its dominant position in the Android market.
