Google Says Hello With Allo -Its WhatsApp Rival App

Google has launched an AI-powered messaging app called Allo that it hopes will take on rivals WhatsApp, Facebook’s Messenger and the dozen other apps out there.

Allo does what every other messaging app does. It lets you chat with other users, send pictures, share stickers, works for group chats, and so on. Where it differs is in its “smart” abilities: it can reply to messages for you and has an in-app assistant called “@google” that can search the internet, play videos and offer restaurant suggestions etc.
