Google has announced that it will setup its new AI research lab in Bengaluru led by Dr. Manish Gupta. This will be Google’s first such lab in India. Though the company did not reveal the number of employees it plans to hire for this research facility.
It’s Vice President Caesar Sengupta said that the company will roll out new country centric products and features to help the first-time internet users.
Union IT minister Ravi Shankar Prasad urged Google to ensure the privacy and safety of its users and extra efforts should be taken to prevent any misuse of the platform.
