Google Launches A Standalone Online Store For All Its Gadgets

Google has launched a standalone online store for all its hardware products – Google Store – replacing the Play Store for all hardware purchases.

Users will be able to shop for devices ranging from the company’s Nexus smartphone to Android Wear smartwatches to the Nest thermostat, and their accessories.
The list of devices on sale on the Google Store in India however is far smaller, and surprisingly doesn’t include the company’s Chromebook lineup.
Google’s Play Store will remain to be a place where users will be able to download and purchase the apps, games and other software, but just not hardware.
Anyone who’s recently ordered a device via the Play Store need not fret, as Google says your order will be automatically transferred to its new site.
